Inaquyu (House of the Chosen Virgins, "Mama-cunas", of the Sun)

Inca Civilization, Early period, located on the Island of Coati (House of the Chosen Virgins of the Sun, Mama-cunas, Island of the Moon), in the southern part of Lake Titicaca, near present-day Sampaya, Bolivia.

Elevation is c. 3870 meters (12700 feet) above sea levl.

Materials: stone and adobe walls, wood roof beams and purlins, thatch roof.
