Deracho is a 13th century AD Zuni ancestral village near Ramah (Navaho
outlier) in West Central New Mexico.
Deracho was named for property owners in 1917 AD, when Leslie Speers first
visited the site.
The modern town of Ramah (Navaho outlier) was built from the stones of this
ruin.
There were probably about 350 rooms on the ground floor (600 total rooms
on three stories).
The village was mysteriously abandoned around 1275 AD.
