Kiatuthlanna Pithouse Group #1 and Pueblo
(Ancestral Zuni village in Eastern Arizona)
Data for these two VR models from Frank H.H. Roberts, Jr.,
in The Ruins of Kiatuthlanna Eastern Arizona,
Smithsonian Institution, Bureau of Ethnology Bulletin 100, 1934.

VR model of Kiatuthlanna Pithouse Group #1, a classic Basketmaker III house
group,
predating the later above-surface stone pueblo (below).

VR Model of Kiatuthlanna Pueblo. The lighter section to the upper right
was the original group of rooms, later abandoned,
as the assembly of rooms to the left was constructed in three phases. Kivas
where built inside of above ground rooms.
Only one doorway was found, as shown in the lower left front corner. Typically
rooms were entered from smoke hole
openings in the roofs.
